Child Safety Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026 · Draft pending legal review
Zero tolerance. Any content that sexualises minors, or people who appear to be minors, is forbidden on AlterLure, whether real, drawn, AI-generated or described in text.
How we prevent it
- Adults only. Every user passes government-ID and live-selfie verification, confirming they are 18 or older, before they can create or upload anything.
- Prompt filtering. Requests that mention or suggest minors, or ages under 18, are refused, in multiple languages.
- Photo checks. Each reference photo must match the verified user, show exactly one person and pass an age estimate. Borderline cases are reviewed by a person.
- Output checks. Every generated image is checked for apparent age and nudity before anyone sees it. Sexual content is blocked if anyone in it may be under 18, if age can't be confirmed, or if it is a drawn style for which we don't yet have a reliable age check. Blocked images are never stored.
- Known-material detection. Uploaded and generated images are checked against databases of known child sexual abuse material.
- Human review and audit. Moderation decisions are recorded, and accounts can be suspended or placed under review at any time.
What happens when we find it
- The content is blocked or removed immediately, and the account is suspended.
- Evidence is preserved securely, without being viewed more than necessary, as the law requires.
- We report it to the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant national authorities.
- Accounts involved are permanently closed.
How to report
Email support@alterlure.me with the subject "Child safety report". Don't attach or forward the content itself; describe where you saw it. You can also report directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline, or to your local police or national hotline. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
